At our recent District 5890 Conference held in Fort Worth, District Governor Mindi Snyder presented awards to Rotarians and Rotary clubs for their outstanding service during the 2022-2023 Rotary Year.
 
Each of these special people and clubs went above and beyond on a regular basis to make our world a better place and are very much appreciated and worked especially hard this year.  A very special heartfelt THANK YOU to each of them and please congratulate and celebrate them for they are a big part of the success we have had as a District this year. 
 
ROTARY INTERNATIONAL AWARD:
"Service Above Self Award" – Wayne Beaumier, Cypress-Fairbanks
Each year there are only 150 Rotarians, out of 1.4 million members, awarded this special recognition worldwide.  This prestigious award for Rotarians and Rotaractors who demonstrate their commitment to helping others by volunteering their time and talents.
