On December 3 the Rotary Club of Houston International held a unique event, Art & Eats Festival, in partnership with The Watermark at Houston Heights. This charity festival features an afternoon of culinary delights, an art silent auction, and unique art & crafts.  Everyone that attended this exciting international art and culinary experience supported programs benefiting Houston-area foster care children.

According to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, the number of children without placement in the foster care system has skyrocketed more than 1,100% since October 2019.

Instead of being hosted in anonymous buildings while awaiting their forever families, Isaiah 117 House provides physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting foster care placement and adoption. The proceeds from the Art and Eats Festival will support children with toiletries and school supplies.
