District 5890 Celebrates in Style at the 2026 All Club Celebration!
On Thursday evening, February 19th, over 325 Rotarians and guests came together for the 2026 Rotary District 5890 All Club Celebration — an epic night centered on our shared mission to fully eradicate polio. The energy, pride, and purpose in the room was spectacular!
A huge thank-you to PDG Mindi and Jeff Snyder and the entire event committee, especially Sir Billy Dorsey, for delivering such a memorable evening.
PDG Michelle Bohreer did an outstanding job as our emcee keeping the night moving beautifully from start to finish.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of The Rotary Foundation's Distinguished Service Award — its highest honor — to PDG Sunny Sharma. Congratulations, PDG Sunny — well deserved!
We were honored to welcome Andrew Stein from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (special thanks to Terry Ziegler for that connection), and deeply moved when District 5910's PDG Hugh Summers, PDG Leon Willhite, and DG Charles Gilliland brought an iron lung — a powerful, unforgettable reminder of why this mission matters.
Thanks also to PDG Eric Liu for chairing our Major Donor Reception to honor those individuals that generously support. Thank you to our future District Governors Camille Hamilton, Dona Burke, and Wayne R. Beaumier for joining us, and to every Rotarian who made the night so special.
The quest continues. Polio ends with us.
