April is "Maternal & Child Health"
Month in Rotary!

Governor's Corner
Fellow Rotarians,

It has been great to see friends at fundraisers, galas and club anniversary events! I look forward to many upcoming visits and installations.

But we have many miles to go before we sleep! Much to do:

And District Conference is almost here!! This event will be a celebration and culmination of a great Rotary year! We hope to see every club represented. Our outgoing Club Presidents and Assistant Governors (AG) will be recognized as will our incoming Presidents and AGs.

We will have a golf tournament, a fishing excursion, spouse/partner and children’s
activities, a Run for the Roses Kentucky Derby Watch party, special activities at the Moody Gardens Pyramids and Garden Lobby and a service project!

Great speakers including Dr. Craig Brown, Mayor of Galveston, and Justin Stapleton from KPRC 2, will bring special messages. PDG Sean Sawyer will travel from West Virginia to be with us as the RI President’s Representative.

We will be celebrating and honoring individuals, clubs and our accomplishments this year! And, yes, the 4-Way Test No. 5… it will be FUN!! So, please join us… Click here to register.

I continue to be honored and privileged to work with you as your District Governor. While we look to the close of our Rotary year, please remember that we are not done. We have so much to do! Thank you for your continued passion and commitment as we Unite for Good and exemplify Compassion in Action!

Gratefully,

Tom Kelchner

All Rotaractors and Rotarians are welcome. We will also offer Rotary 101 for both new Rotarians and those that want a refresher.
access the zone 25b & 29 membership master vault

As we are in the final stretch of the Rotary year, let's finish with momentum. District 5890 resides in Zone 25B, which hosts a variety of trainings for Clubs and Districts throughout the year.

The final four Membership Vault sessions will tackle the challenges leaders face most—engaging young professionals, strengthening retention, turning events into membership pipelines, and learning from this year to start the next with clarity and purpose. These topics give clubs the tools they need right now, and your leadership is what makes that possible. Let's carry this energy forward and help our districts step into the new year ready to grow.
