Our Rotary District 5890 in the greater Houston area, is collecting donations to support urgent disaster relief efforts following the devastating flooding in areas of Rotary District 5840 which is located in South Central Texas.
Rotary District 5890 Charities, Inc. is recognized as a 501(C)(3) charitable organization. Together with Disaster Aid USA, our donation campaign will be strategic by purchasing and immediately distributing supplies such as water, diapers, etc. to the affected areas. The focus will then shift to chainsaw work, debris removal, much and gut of homes, and simple-story roof tarping. For long-term, we'll support rebuilding, resupplying, and rejuvenating that area during the rescue and recovery phase.
