The Rotary Clubs of Space Center, Greater Houston Veterans, and Pasadena held the "ribbon cutting" for their Peace Monument.  The monument is styled after the Freedom Tower with "May Peace Prevail On Earth" written on each of the 8 sides in a different language is approximately 25 feet tall and will be lit at night.

This beautiful monument is located in Clear Lake Park, Landolt Pavilion located at 5002 E. NASA Parkway, Seabrook TX.

The dedication included tributes to the bravery of those that were lost on 9/11, those that served our country, and also those that continue to keep our great county the land of the free, and the home of the brave!  See the KPRC TV news coverage of the monument, and the Veterans service.

Past President of the Rotary Club of Space Center, Mike Porterfield is the designer and commissioned the construction.  He even had a song written by his son who is a professional musician.  Here is the link to the song:  "Peace Song" (Lyric Video) - YouTube
