Welcome to the Rotary District 5890 Rotary Foundation Committee page!

As in prior years, this committee’s website will always be "a work in progress." We will add or modify items for the current year as necessary and appropriate.

On the left-hand side of this and every page are the links to each area of content and the documents you might want to read, understand, fill out a form, or contact a person regarding an area of interest. Should you want to contact any of the District Foundation Committee members, please contact the Sub-Committee Chair first, before the members of a committee. The Sub-Committee Chair usually has more complete information about that area of interest than committee members. You are always free to contact me directly as well.

I am truly looking forward to helping your club have a great year!  If you have an idea of how we can do things better, contact me.

If you need a speaker for a club meeting, many of the Rotarians on the District Foundation Committee are willing and able to come present!

NOTE: If you gave any questions about the District Qualification Package, contact Lisa Pauls at RotaryLPauls@gmail.com or (979) 299-7192. If you gave any questions about the District Grants Application contact the Grants Subcommittee Chair Beckie Stockstill Cobb at  beckie@stockstillandassociates.com

November is Rotary Foundation Month!

To celebrate, District 5890 is offering to match our members contribution 1:1 with recognition transfer points. This will help give you credit towards your Paul Harris Fellow and beyond, up to PHF+8.
Sorry Major Donors, point transfer will not help you toward your next level of Major Donor. However your continued personal contribution will.

Guidelines:

  • Minimum contribution of $250 and Maximum contribution of $500 qualifies for matching 1:1
  • Designation of contribution must be for Annual Fund (this is the fund that 50% comes back to District in 3 years)
  • All contributions must be mailed directly to The Rotary Foundation (14280 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60693-0142)
  • Contributions must be made between November 1 to November 30, 2022
  • If mailing contribution as a group within your Club, use The Rotary Foundation's Multiple Donor Form.
  • If mailing contribution as an individual donor, use The Rotary Foundation Contribution Form.
  • To obtain the matching, send copy of the above form to District 5890 TRF Committee Chair Barbara Franklin, via email at bbfranklin@comcast.net

The Rotary Foundation Donor Recognition

Your generous contributions to The Rotary Foundation are essential to securing and growing Rotary programs throughout the world. We recognize donors to express our gratitude for your commitment, offering individual and club recognition as well as naming opportunities that enable you to honor a friend or family member with a named or endowed gift.

The Rotary Foundation Thanks You For Your Support in 2022!

Planned giving - doing good in the world beyond your lifetime

Through a planned gift, donors can provide ongoing support to Rotary programs. Donors can choose structured gifts to be made after their lifetimes, and take advantage of financial and tax benefits, which vary by country.

Not sure how to get started based upon age, giving amount or assets?  Need details for your financial advisor or how to change your will?
When you plan a gift to Rotary through your estate of financial plans, you will continue a 100-year tradition of uniting leaders from all continents, cultures, and industries for the common good.  It is easier than you might think, and you've come to the right place to learn more.  Use the link below to learn about how planned giving can help you achieve your charitable and financial goals.
