Ugandan Vocational Training Team posing with Dr. Denton Cooley, heart surgery pioneer and living legend. First heart transplant in the US and first implant of a fully artificial heart. Dr. Cooley is 93 years old and still comes to work every day at The Texas Medical Center. Team leader Rotarian Dr. Isaac Okullo, Dean of the Schools of Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy at Makerere University, the largest institute of higher learning in Uganda, is standing in the rear to the right of Dr. Cooley.
