"PUMPKINS FOR POLIO" FUNraiser to END POLIO NOW!
For the 2025 World Polio Day, District 5890 is planning a great collaborative fundraiser for all D5890 to come together, have FUN, and raise funds to help wipe polio of the planet!
District Governor Tom Kelchner's goal is for each club that participates to raise funds for Rotary's PolioPlus Fund to eradicate polio. Join us for a fun and impactful fundraiser that brings together creativity and compassion to help wipe polio off the planet!
🎃Your $1 becomes $3! The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will match every dollar 2-for-1, tripling your impact!

DECORATED PUMPKIN JUDGING CONTEST
The entry fee is FREE! District 5890 clubs are encouraged to design and enter one (1) decorated pumpkin for display in Furst Colony Mall at our District 5890 "Pumpkins for Polio" booth. Visitors to the mall will donate $1 per vote to select the "BEST" pumpkin.🎨

Here's how it works:
- Purchase a ticket for just $1. (We'll also have QR Codes there for different donation levels)
- Place your ticket in the container by your favorite pumpkin.
- Every dollar you spend will be donated to Rotary's PolioPlus Fund, A 501(C)3 non-profit, to END POLIO NOW and matched 2-for-1 to help End Polio Now!

CLUB PUMPKIN PRESENTATION:
- There is non charge for your Club to enter a pumpkin.
- All pumpkins need to be delivered to the mall by 11 AM Thursday, Oct 23rd. You might get yours to another person going the night before.
- Each Club participaing will provide one (1) carved pumpkin to be voted on by the public.
- Next to entry will be an acrylic stand for an 8.5" x 11" sheet that the Club provides. It can promote voting for the pumpkin but definately should have Club meeting time and location, and club projects listed..
- ALL funds received AT THE MALL will be split between participating Clubs.
- Promotion: Please promote pre-giving within your club. Social medial will help you in getting donations in advance and during the event.
