A celebration of Life
Our "Celebration of Life" ceremony each year at our District Conference gives us a chance to honor Rotarians who have passed away during the Rotary year.
If your club lost any Rotarians during the 2025-2026 year, please email their information to our District 5890 Parliamentarian, Bill Hall, so we can properly celebrate and honor their service, dedication and legacy to as a Rotarian.
Governor's Saturday Night Gala in Moody Garden's Conference Center Ballroom
Our Rotary 5890 Governor's Gala is a time for us to celebrate our year of Service Above Self. This is a special time for District Governor Tom to help us reflect about each way we united for good to help change our world during the 2025-2026 Rotary year.
This event will include the introduction of our incoming 2026-2027 Club Presidents.
Your best friend can now enjoy the suite life at Moody Gardens Hotel! Include your dog during your island getaway with long walks through the acres of beautiful Moody Gardens, spectacular room accommodations, and other hotel amenities that will make you and your furry friend feel like a VIP.
Moody Gardens Hotel is dog-friendly, and dogs are welcome in designated rooms for an additional fee. Pets must be on a leash, in a car, or in a crate at all times, and they must be with their owners at all times. They cannot be left unattended in the park, in a vehicle, or at a campsite. Service animals are allowed, but dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals
Please note: for exhibit animal safety, dogs are not allowed in the attractions. Refer to the Moody Gardens Dog Policy for pet fee, weight and other guidelines.

Hospitality Suites are a great place to meet, greet and share how we can "Unite For Good!" They'll be open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night and are hosted by several D5890 Rotary clubs.
These are where much of the fellowship and magic of a district conference happens! It's where we gather to enjoy food, beverages & fellowship in a friendly & fun environment!
