For any club in D5890 to receive a 2023-24 District and/or Global Grants, the club must be qualified. To qualify, a club must:
 
Designate at least two club members (with one member being the 2023-24 Club President) to participate in a District Grant training. If the club is interested in applying for a Global Grant, the online Grant Management Seminar training at Rotary International's Learning Center must also be completed.  
 
Execute and return the following documents: a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), a D5890 Addendum to the MOU, a Club Financial Management Plan, and a Club Misuse or Mismanagement Plan, and submit them to the Stewardship Chair (Lisa Paus) no later than June 1, 2023. These documents are part of the “2023-24 District 5890 Grants Qualification Package” found on the left-hand side of this webpage.
 
Be current on its Rotary International and District 5890 dues, and be in good standing with the District 5890, Rotary International, and The Rotary Foundation.
 
Be current on all tax returns for the Rotary Club and any associated Club Foundation.
 
Have established and reported an Annual Giving Goal for the current year. The goal must be entered in Rotary Club Central found at www.rotary.org.
 
Be current on all Rotary Grant reporting requirements.
 
Appoint a Club Rotary Foundation Chair, and post the name to Clubrunner so that we may easily contact such individual.
 
In addition to qualification requirements, a 2023-24 District Grant Application must be submitted (also on the left hand side of this page).
 
Club qualification must be renewed annually.
